BlackBerry Teams Up With Amazon Web Services to Manage Vehicle Sensor Data

Shares of security software specialist BlackBerry (NYSE:BB) soared on Tuesday, following the company’s announcement of a collaboration with Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN). The former smartphone giant has teamed up with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to develop a platform that helps automakers collect and analyze data from vehicle sensors.

What is BlackBerry IVY?

The BlackBerry IVY system is a scalable software platform with deep roots on AWS cloud computing services. This vehicle data platform provides consistent and secure methods for gathering vehicle sensor information, packaging it into a normalized format, and preparing the data blobs for real-time analysis running on the car’s own processors as well as deeper dives through AWS-based cloud computing services.

Sensor Tower: Genshin Impact brings in nearly $400 million in 2 months on mobile

Genshin is sure having an impact on MiHoYo’s bottom line.

Mobile analytics firm Sensor Tower said today that Genshin Impact has brought in an estimated $393 million in the first two months after its September 28 launch. But the firm also noted that spending in the second month didn’t keep up with its first month ($245 million).

Indra to lead sensor development for mainland Europe’s next-gen fighter

STUTTGART, Germany – Spain’s Indra will head up a team of three industry partners to build the sensor suite for the Franco-German-Spanish advanced fighter jet and weapon system programs, the company announced Nov. 23.

France’s procurement office, the Direction Générale de l’Armement (DGA), signed a contract on Monday with the Spanish company on behalf of the three nations involved in the Future Combat Air System (FCAS) and Next-Generation Weapon System programs. Indra will work together with French company Thales and German industry consortium FCMS to design and develop the “connected and distributed architecture of sensors” to provide situational awareness, and boost platform survivability, the company said in a release.

The new Redmi Note 9 series is launching on November 26 and we’re learning new things about it on a daily basis. The latest bit of information comes from Redmi’s General Manager Lu Weibing who has shared an official render of the purported new Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G. The official has also teased a brand new camera sensor for the series.

The image shared by Weibing (seen below) shows a smartphone with a circular quad camera design and gradient color finish. We previously saw the same phone appear in a blue colorway on the Chinese certification website TENAA.
