Apple execs talk M1, chip specs versus real-world performance in interview

Apple’s M1 chip was designed with actual real-world performance in mind and not the on paper specifications usually touted by chipmakers, according to a trio of Apple executives.

Software chief Craig Federighi, SVP of Worldwide Marketing Greg Joswiak and hardware SVP Johny Srouji, recently spoke to True Ventures partner and journalist Om Malik to explain how the Apple Silicon chip differs from its competitors.

YouTube said the video was found to have violated its rules because of a remark Mr. Jones made about Mr. Gates — a frequent subject of the fringe theories he promotes — and wanting people killed.

Mr. Jones, meanwhile, claimed his comment was misinterpreted and argued Mr. Pool was “stampeded” by YouTube.

The remark occurred during part of

But software is itself constantly in-flux, requiring adept financial management from skilled CFOs. That is why this month I spoke to the CFOs of two different software platforms, asking them about the implications of software for finance professionals in general and what issues the finance function faces in this sector.

With the rise in global economic tumult, due to the Covid-19 crisis, the need for seamless, technology-enabled solutions to manage global supply chains has never been more apparent. I recently spoke with Sarah Dickens Spoja, CFO of accounts payable software provider Tipalti, about her company’s role in helping finance leaders navigate uncertainty and ensure timely, secure processes for paying global
