AI approach could solve the problem of ROI for content

COVID has created an uncertain future for companies and their content marketing.

When the COVID-related lockdowns occurred earlier this year, most companies quickly cut back on their marketing spend as they found that their messaging wasn’t getting much traction — and for good reason. The messaging was no longer relevant. San Francisco-based InPowered says its AI technologies are helping companies re-engage with their traffic and zero-in on what people want to see.

InPowered focuses on content marketing and its clients are large Fortune 500 brands trying amplify their marketing through technologies that match relevant content to the right people.

“When COVID started to hit we saw a lot of big clients, some of the largest brands in the world, pull back spending because they weren’t able to engage with people, and they didn’t know what type of content would work under these new business conditions,” said Peyman

My golden rule for social media: talk trash to your heart’s content, but do it in private | Social media

Some friends of mine, a couple working from home together, have reacted to the boredom of lockdown by turning their hairless cat into a workplace antagonist, muttering darkly about his behaviour from the other side of the room. The impulse to invent enemies runs deep. And now that our entire social lives have been reduced to the domestic and online spheres, there’s a lot of dark energy going around. And it has to find an outlet somewhere.

For the most part, this has taken the form of being unpleasant to people on social media. Twitter, especially now that there’s a new feature that allows you to see if you’ve been retweeted by a private account, has never felt more rancorous and fogged in paranoia. This is fuelled by a lack of real-world gossip, as well as the way in which social media functions as a kind of public-private forum

If somebody goes to Parler, they are saying, “I like crazy stuff,” Gates said Tuesday at The New York Times DealBook Summit. “If you want Holocaust denial, hey, Parler is going to be great for you,” Gates said.

This week, Outriders tweeted something that seems like a pretty direct shot at Godfall, where a common
