Peer groups provide networking support and exclusive training opportunities to members who service appliances

“Before I was in any kind of networking group, I felt like I was on an island for my business,” recalls Dew, whose parents founded the family-owned appliance and HVAC business Dew’s in North Myrtle Beach, S.C., in 1947. “There was no one I could talk to. But once I started reaching out to other independent retailers, I found a network that I could share things with, and I didn’t feel so alone. SoFi expert on what work will look in 2021

If 2020 has taught us anything, it’s that predicting the future is practically impossible.

The COVID-19 pandemic derailed any personal or professional goals that were set at the start of the new decade. The promise of the New Year quickly became a mandatory quarantine which changed the way in which we work for the future.

Return dates to the office remain murky as companies continue to push back dates until a vaccine is available. The commute remains sacrificed and quick jolts around the block are hard to come by before at-home responsibilities like childcare creep in the way of Excel spreadsheets.

With a second wave of the coronavirus knocking on the door, what exactly should workers
